I have seen numbers on Gasoline from 5.8 to 6.5 Pounds per gallon
Fresh water and sea water I have also seen 62-62.5 pounds and 64 pounds per cubic Foot used respectively

1 gallon of ethonol weighs around 6.59 Pounds

Also 4 tablespoons of a Neutron Star would weigh around A Billion Tons Have not seen that . Yet!

Default Scarab26 beat me to it.

I was just going to ask, What type/octane gas are you referring to?
We found there is a difference.

5.4lbs to 6.2lbs depending on temp.
6.0lbs is close enough.
