Bow Safety Chain?

I used 20k lb safety chain. Cut it to length to leave just a bit of play when hooked. When trailering I rely on ratchet straps.
When I bought my boat it didn’t have a safety chain. The second time I pulled the boat out of the water going up the ramp my winch unlocked and unwound. But guess what? That safety chain I added caught and it was a non event. Phew!

After a lot of shopping, this is what I ordered. Some of your ideas led me to it. I’ll loop one end through my trailer eye which is painted. Quick link for the bow eye.
