I'll keep this short. I was getting tired of the Captain and my sister in law had some Malibu rum. Liked the taste, so I bought some last weekend. Watching the 'skins Sunday night it sure seemed like I was drinking a hell of a lot of rum without the benefits. Tonight at the booze-a-rama I'm reading labels and Malibu rum is only 42 proof. The Captain is 78 proof, and Bacardi is 80 proof, no wonder I couldn't get a buzz from the 42 proof stuff. Boycott Malibu rum, it is for sissies. Thanks for listening.

Malibu is to be only used as a supplement to real rum! Try mixing both.

Its "Girl Rum". Just Like Zima is "Girl Beer"

Yup, that Malibu is what my girlfriend drinks. I 'd get a sugar headache before I go a buzz. Be careful of the Captain, he has made me walk the plank a time or two.
