Nor-Tech Exhaust Baffle?

Nor-Tech Exhaust Baffle?
Purchased a Nor-Tech 3600 Supercat, it came with these baffles welded in the exhaust. Never seen anything like it. I've seen stuff like this before on motorcycles an it killed performance big time. Before I cut them out I thought I'd seek other opinions.It now has 1277 hp each.

Regarding the baffle....it looks similar to a baffle that was in the headers on my jet boat at one time. As I recall I removed them and gained about 100 RPM (~25 HP with an A impeller around 5000 RPM) on a ~425 hp engine.....not a great comparision....but I would look into removing them....they didnt do anything for noise and robbed power....much better methods for quieting it down if you desire.
