Has anyone ever carried a stiff push broom that you could use if needed. Or maybe some sand to put in the tires path. Clearing a little of the snott of would let the tires bite.

This day sucked for Gino. Once it starts to go, your only chance of saving is having someone in the boat at the exact same moment who can push/hold by putting the drives in gear and pushing with the boat.

It's unfair to use Gino as anything but a worst-case for anything. He could turn walk to Dairy Queen into the most agonizing and hilarious mishap you ever heard. LOL

There are two used P4XL's in the market right now. I'm going to look at one this weekend. The other is actually in Phoenix, where I live. I am also pricing new but am frightened at what I might see. It seems they only build a couple a year in 4WD. My wife is pretty insistent on 4WD as she will be the one launching and retrieving. She absolutely wants no launch-ramp drama. Time is on my side. My only issue time wise is to get my tilt to Skater before "winter."

With a hauler bed you don't need 4WD or at least I never did with a 15,000 pound boat. With a pick up bed, you'll need 4WD or weight in the bed.

Less expensive than 4 wheel drive and should work well for limited use at boat ramps.

Isn't there also a difference in the brakes on the two models. In RI we need an air brake certification to drive the P4xl

That's pretty awesome. I never knew such existed. I would consider MD truck ownership with that installed.
