Decided to pull the prop...you can see thru the webs. it’s pretty bad. Anyone ever see this before?

No sir I have not. But your right, if you blow the picture up I’m pretty sure you can see light through the hole.

Basically have $600 paperweights now!!!

I can say that I have never really inspected the inner veins on any of my props.
Its not surprising that you didn't notice it and I doubt that the seller would not have noticed it either.

i agree I have seen this before on a friends cruiser in marina with SS props. Electrolysis can happen rapidly especially ina marina. It only takes a boat or two to F things up

as for your deal, a year later... I wouldn’t post, I would accept as lesson learned. Inspect upon purchase

There was a post on that FB thing this season of two fancy brand new outboards that had the lowers literally eaten off from electrolysis. They were only in the water for a week. Most the other slips were fine but it’s supposed the next slip upstream had an issue.

My desk could use new paper weights, depending on pitch. I’ll give you 200 plus shipping for them. I would put them on my boat, I mean desk.

I’ll take 200.
