Truly a shame, appeared to be a very nice piece. I'm always curious as to the cause when a boat sinks. Hopefully the owner is a member here & can clue us in.

probably sunk it due to low interest to collect insurance lol

unfortunately that has been all too common these days

I see that boat every time I go to launch(it's docked on the Clinton river). I've never seen it move personally. Always in the slip when I drive by.

I wonder if that was the same 47' that use to be in Old Saybrook, CT probably 10-15 years ago at Between the Bridges. Was named "Stars and Stripes" if I recall. We ran with it a few times in my Dads 36 Outlaw. Damn shame either way.

They usually just pay to fix it on a sinking. Money ahead to fix it and have a running motor than to not.
