The Hellkat 32 was a 30 Spectre Todd cut in half and Rey bought from Todd to make the HellKat 32.

So this 32 model is a 30 Spectre with a widened tunnel, it's not a new 32' hull. What makes it a 32 now and not a 30? Call me old school, but I always called my 30 Skater a 30, as that is what is measured from the transom to the tip of the sponsons. Measured from the back of the tunnel extension to the tip of the sponsons, it measured over 32', but I certainly never called it a 32 Skater. The length game all the manufacturers are playing today are getting as bad as Reggie Fountain with his built-in swim platforms and beaks included in his boat model lengths back starting in the '80s.........

Todd added 2 feet to the 30 Spectre. Rey will make the Mold from Todd's 32.

Thanks for the clarification, it was not mentioned in any of the earlier posts. That market is surely getting crowded with so many manufacturers jumping in on the 450R craze, but I guess they need to get in on the action while it's hot! Best of luck to all involved, it's a good looking boat.

Although spending that kind of money for an unproven hull is definitely a big risk. Time will tell. No risk no reward. I certainly give them props for taking a leap of faith and taking a chance.
