Default Florida vote....

I'm so confused.
I have no idea who to vote for as Governor.

I hate Jeb Bush, he changes his position every time the wind changes direction, but now he claims he's on the boaters side with the environmental/Manatee issues.
I thought McBride was on our side, but now I see he's being endorsed by the STM Club.
WTF????
I know there's other topics/issues to consider but the Manatee issue is at the top of my list.
We need someone that'll take firm stance.

What am I saying? It'll never happen. Anyone that gets in will bow to their pressure.

Any Ideas??

I can't stand either of them, but this is one item which may make up my mind.

I read that article yesterday when Dean posted the link.
The only problem is that Jeb has backed down several times in the past and allowed the STMC to dictate terms to the Florida government.
I don't believe Jeb is really on our side. It's just a poilitical ploy to get re-elected. The next time the STMC screams about dying manatees, Jeb will side with them. You watch.

CustomRigger101,
I read that article before and it's all true. The power plants have disrupted their migration habits. One of the problems is that Florida law states the discharge water must be 68* year round to protect the manatees. The STMC says we must not do anything to interfere with their habitat and migration patterns. Well, we've done just that by keeping the waters warm in the winter. I think the power companies should make their discharge water match the ambient water temp year round. That would force the manatees to migrate south to warmer water in winter.

Iggy,
I feel your confusion, BUT I know historically the Dems are more inclined to cater to eco-radicals. Jimmy "Stuff-it" was in Orlando yesterday endorsing Mc-bride and the $MC is also endorsing Mc-Bride. I think that's enough for me, I'm going to vote for Bush, the lesser of the 2 evils!

I thought of that too, Iggy...Of course, everything he does has political motives, but I would think leaning towards the other side would yield more votes... Just don't know.

Yeah, I know.
I guess that's what I'll have to do, vote for the lesser of the two evils. Wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks guys.
