Changing trailer brakes from drums to disc.

I had a bearing fail, cocked onto the brake shoes until I had a fire !!!!!!
I was on the way to storage so i just got new bearings removed the brakes and will worry about it in the spring,,, I cracked the drum also from the heat, I was amazed considering I go through my bearings every year,,,, anyway,, I am getting a disk brake conversion kit on sale for $120,,, it is actually cheaper the replacing 1 backing plate and buying another drum !!!
My question is I have a Baja 272 and a Eagle trailer with only 1 axle braking, I would like to add braking to both axles, is it as straight forward as to install the brakes and run lines to the calipers?
I wouldnt think it needs proportioning between the 2, but I wonder if the master cyl is the same,,, I intended to call Eagle, just wondering if anyone did this before,,, oh, and I got the backup lockout as well.

I always prefered having only one braking axle. Yes, I know that the stopping distance would be longer, but if the brakes locked up, it would be nice to have two wheels that were still turning and able to provide directional control.
