Have had the Piratecom wireless system from Setcom since 2010. Work well, nice to walk around boat at card stops and while docking with communication.
Yes, with no install you just take them along on whatever boat (or any other activities) you wish.
I’m sure you “need” these around the lumberyard......

The one problem I’ve found with wireless is they require a battery. I’m the type of person who doesn’t think about the AA battery until we’re on the boat and all my friends are complaining the headsets don’t work....

The Sampson are rechargeable and a charge lasts for a day of boating with no problem. They recharge via USB.
