XR versus #6
Any one know the weight difference between the two? Thanks, I was told that #6s could be too heavy for some boats..

Including Transom assemblies I would say 200-300 lbs difference

... and the 6 takes a lot more hp to turn which has to be taken in to your considerations - not just the drive weight/ reliability depending on your application as imco is a solid option

The 6 is heavier and takes more power but it totally makes the boat much better. Once you drive. #6 boat you’ll never want another bravo ! |

its 281 lbs if I recall correctly - but then it can be even higher depending on prop used / number of blades and then if I recall that was dry weight. Expect 300 lbs min for a good overall average

Here’s what I know......me and one of my guys pull my sixes of by hand and it feels like I’m lifting 150+ so I figure another 100 pounds difference in TAs
