Default XR versus #6

Any one know the weight difference between the two? Thanks, I was told that #6s could be too heavy for some boats..

... and the 6 takes a lot more hp to turn which has to be taken in to your considerations - not just the drive weight/ reliability depending on your application as imco is a solid option

The 6 is heavier and takes more power but it totally makes the boat much better. Once you drive. #6 boat you’ll never want another bravo !

An XR is about 130 pounds depending on the length of the lower. A #6 is 255 pounds. The Bravo HD transom assembly is 78 pounds and the #6 transom assembly is about 250 pounds depending if its a drive line or close coupling.

its 281 lbs if I recall correctly - but then it can be even higher depending on prop used / number of blades and then if I recall that was dry weight. Expect 300 lbs min for a good overall average
