Sounds like sonic and fountain are two worth looking at...where does or does donzi fit in somehow with these bigger boats?

I'm thinking of boating the same way (although I'm further north, Perdido Key) and I'm hoping my Formula 311 with twins serves the purpose.

that’s a good list! I started on this site looking for my first boat and purchased a 36 Baja Outlaw in 2005 from a gentleman I met on OSO one of the nicest 36s out there. You would love that boat the handling, space, and cost were all big sellers for me. We would run the Scope and Desert Storm poker runs out of Long Beach and Havasu, it would run with all the other boats cruise at 60mph and I could overnight if I wanted. My wife just told me she misses our 36 Outlaw over my new to me Hallett 340. If that’s not a testimony to how nice the 36 is I don’t know what is😁 Good luck with you search there’s a nice 36OL in classifieds with Blue Motors

I think I’ve heard that above 35’ is the target for offshore, but I did see a good deal on a 32’ Chris Craft Stinger.... is that boat a candidate (despite its slightly shorter length?

I think any nice Vbottom with Twins 29 and Up will work great for what you want. Ive ran in some Big water with Tank and a few others in there Cigs when I had my Baja. When it gets rough nobody is hauling the mail
