Sharkey I spent a lot of hours riding in smokey +bandit 33' hydra tech boat. That is the best riding 33' cat I have ever seen. The owner in the chesapeake beat the hell out of it for 10 years. He went through maybe 10 motors. He could not hurt that boat. We even stuffed it in Batimore on summer. Jack really built a great hull and Kurt really knows how to do set up. That boat is now somewere in the midwest. It had stern power drives

If you think that had a nice ride, try a Skater. You will certainly be overwhelmed...
To date, the Hydras have not have any hull failures. Only one is no longer with us. It was lost due to an EFI failure at one of the races and burned to the waterline.
Concrete Kat was the name. It was Jack's 1st race boat I believe.
Oh Dennis.......
I was hoping you were going to let this one play out...

I knew that deck line was a clear give away...
Yes.
Hydra Powerboats is building this 42 footer w/an 8'10" beam. As it sits, Hull, Deck, Bulkheads and Stringers it is weighing in at an impressive 3,100 pounds! It is built with Carbon Fiber and Kevlar as well as many Composites.
Did I mention it is also Vacuum Bagged?
