Before Dave built that one he did the bottom on Jeff's Fountain with one big step

and the rest is history.

Jedi the "Factory experimental boat" is sitting on Harsens Island, I drive by it about a thousand times in the summer and tell myself to take a picture everytime, but I'm usually in a rush. I will make it a point to take some pictures and post them here in the spring.

I have a pic of it somewhere on an old hard drive i think. I heard it was out on Harsens as well, gotta wonder why it was even moved in the first place. I dont know why but i just got a thing for these old oddball misfit failures although i do understand they are instrumental in the development of what works and what doesn't. At the very least you have to give credit to guys like Dave that rolled the dice on one design or another. I think we need a thread on offshore powerboat oddities
