The race was awesome. Pier 57 is a man among boys. Drambuie, I mean Copeland broke. Great day for racing though, very calm seas. Super Stock Supreme flipped and was towed in upside down. Hope things work out for those guys, great looking boat. The track on Ponchatrain is perfect for viewing a race. Very long straight and they go right by you, up close and personal. Can't wait until Sunday. Bye for now.

Bored, the Scarab does 80 at best in P4. Smitty runs a lot faster in P3.

I spoke to Jeff from Freeze Frame a week ago and he was just doing on board cameras for the SBI race. No flying. I would think this race would be televised on OLN. SBI has it on the schedule for 4pm on Sat Dec 7th and again on Fri Dec 13th at noon.

Default Hey DJD:

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

I would love to post a picture with the checkered flag, but they apparently aren't going to give those out 'till Sunday.

For those who care about little ole P-5:

Seven boats answered roll call, but I think only 5 or 6 actually started. (Boss blew a tranny prior to the race, according to the Navigator from Pittman Photo) We took first (P5-2 purple bat boat) and I think Pittman Photo took second, and maybe For $um Reason took third. I had to get to the airport before the official results were posted, so my results (other than our 1st place) are "unofficial".

I'll be back there on Sunday.
