Default Air/Fuel sensors - which bank?

Hi Guys - does it matter which side of the engine the A/F Ratio sensor is on? 454MAG/Carbed/Weiand 177 blower.

As always thanks!

Dont really want to keep eye on 4 guages and run wires all over the place. Just running pair for tuning then thought I would go one per motor. Is that short sighted?
