Miami is the larger boat show according to many boating publications. It encompasses all of the above comments and has the largest collection of major yachts and sail yachts outdoors in addition to the extremely large indoor collection.

Miami was cool - I got to ride a Formula 37SS, a SeaRay 510 Sundancer, a SeaRay 560 Sedan Bridge, a Sea Ray 480 Motor Yacht, A Cruisers 5370 (is that the right number?), and a Spectre 36 Poker Run with 575SC's that I went 108 in with all my group and one other guy (weren't even asked to put on PFD's). There were lots more boats to ride with lots of invitations to do so, but we ran out of time and were not able to.

Guys, I have not been to the FTL boat show, but I have been at the Miami show for the past 5 years. It is great and I have never seen it all. I am usally there from Fri--Monday. There must be about 80 performance boats in the water at the Marriot.
Is anyone going on the poker run to the keys, or bahamas after the boat show. I am bringing my boat along this year.
