What do you do ? 1960xxx so you`re retired because you seem clueless about the economy.Probably on the same page as your idiot governor.
Our Democrap governor is going to extend stay at home because the more damage to the economy the better , he`s asking the federal Gov. for billions to bail out the pension crisis which was entirely created to by the demorat party. Plus its another great excuse to raise taxes. This year our license stickers DOUBLED in price , added more gas taxes(inflation built in) took away the tax credit when you trade in a car .. now we pay tax on the full price of a new car no matter the trade in... that`s just some of the extra taxes .. you know cause thats what democrats do , spend spend spend, tax tax tax.
I`m sure you`re onboard with all that .. socialism and all being so awesome .
You`re right we`re not buddies , I cant stand clueless dip**** liberals that are ruining our country.
I came here in 1982 my parents escaped Communism, your democrat party is one step away from that.

democrats are cumming in their panties at the thought of an economic collapse so they can control more of your life. they hate trump so much that would burn the country down so he's not re-elected.

theres a saying from a guy back in the 1800's

hard times create strong men (depression and ww2)
strong men create good times (50's 60's)
good times create weak men (70's- 90's)
weak men create hard times (now)

When things get back to normal (next summer??) I’d like to bring my family and boat up to the Traverse City area for a couple weeks. Any suggestions for a starting point? I spent a lot of summers in central Michigan as a kid and vaguely remember a trip up that way to a place with a lot of huge (to an 8yr old) sand dunes. Thought my kids would enjoy the place as well.

Sleeping bear dunes. Also a lot of beautiful water and beautiful country. The Boyne Thunder poker run up that way is first class too,

The picture of the open carry group is not a true representation of the protest. Most obeyed the "rules" and stayed in their cars and circled the capitol for a few hours.

The area has a lot to offer with lots of places for kids to explore. The dunes are always fun and there are lots of open beaches within Sleeping Bear and south towards Frankfort and Arcadia. Traverse city proper has the Cherry Festival around 4th of July week which is a big event including the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels (they alternate each year). There are plenty of places to eat from bar food to fine dining, micro brews, wineries etc. For boating it's perfect ! East and West bay have marinas with transient slips and the water is good most days unless there is significant north wind off the man body of Lake Michigan. Both bays are appx. 20 mile long and open into the main body of the big lake. Power Island is the big raft up area and provides good anchorage and shallow shoreline. The big problem would be housing, I'd start looking now for next year, the state park and rentals condos/cottages sell out quickly. Obviously there could be vacancies this summer.
North of Traverse are a series of smaller towns that also provide harbors and docking on the big lake or access to the big lake. Elk Rapids Charlevioux, Boyne, Petoskey, Harbor Springs. Inland there's Elk, Torch lakes that are large and clean.
I could go on more, Message me for more local info. Ed

She is just reacting to all the negative from her state. Huge boating state. Just shows her inability to think and predict vs react to bad press. Hopefully Michigan voters remember. Then again, IL is as bad or worse. Pritzker is horrible.

all of this just shows she has no clue how to run the state. march 20 she said she was not considering shelter in place and 4 days later shes doing it. either shes a liar or she devised the whole plan in 4 days. now all of a sudden, magically its now safe enough to golf and gas up your boat? wtf has changed?

keep in mind she has spent her entire life "working " in government.

and how come she asked for 70 days authority and got 23 days but now that the legislature might not give her authority, she now claims she doesnt need it. how the **** is that? now any governor can just claim emergency and become a dictator?

"One state law, from 1945, gives Whitmer broad authority to unilaterally declare and end an emergency, while another — enacted in 1976 — requires legislative approval for an extension."
