1996 Fountain 24'

A friend is looking at one with a rebuilt 502.

Any advice? Any problems to look out for?

What's the market price these days.

The Fountain 24CS is strictly a lake boat. It only has a 17 degree deadrise. If that fits his criteria, he shouldn't be disappointed. They are fast and stable.

A good friend of mine has a 1996 24CS with a 454 Mag. He bought it new and you would not believe the beating that boat has taken since day one!It is a lake boat, but it does not seem to get too far out of shape when it hits a stray wake or whatnot

I have spent quite a bit of time in this boat and every time I get in I am always very impressed, and not a single stress crack on the whole rig! Currently has 350 hrs on her.

Perfect size for a lake, his goes 70 on the Nordscog speedo.

I`d guess 25k would be a fair price.
