1920 or 2020 makes no difference if you're performance boating.
In times of Corona I'm spending too much time boating by way of the home entertainment system. Here are a few ~1920 vs ~2020 videos.
Since the attention span is shorter among most of the audience now, the contemporary videos are naturally a lot more like trailers.
