I'm not too savvy direction-wise but I'd say the dam is north east ?

28 Pantera with twins should do well.

There is literally thousands of coves, if you want to swim, that is where you would go. The Main channel is where the rough water is.

The lake is 100 miles long, over 1500 miles of frontage. Don't be scared by the video. That is the first 10 minutes of everyone leaving the shootout. Picture this 5000+ boats, all leaving at the same time with a storm coming in. That is when that was taped. Is not a problem anymore, yes it is rough, but they have spread everything out with the no wake zones during the Shootout specified hours.

Holiday weekends in the main channel from the 6-30mm are still close.
During the week, it is it fine for any 18 footer.

For a few hours Saturday afternoons on holiday weekends it can get rough. This video was after the Shootout so there were literally thousands leaving at the same time. If a guy waited an hour, it would have subsided quite a bit. We just make certain that we are where we want to be at those times. It is an awesome time to be someplace with a good view of the main channel as you will get a chance to see allot of the coolest boats on the planet!

28 Pantera will do fine and will take whatever LOTO throws at it. It will still be a bumpy ride on big weekends from the 0 to 40mm though. I went from a Pantera single to my 32 AT. The AT rides a lot better, but its still a bumpy ride on most Summer Saturday afternoons.
