Regarding bugs, Sydwayz is right for the stretch wrap. You can buy at Home Depot etc. Stretch, wrap and use tape to hold. Done it many times for trip to PGI. We have a home on Lucia Drive in Punta Gorda and keep the Donzi CC down there on a lift. You in same area and on a lift??

Regards.

Xpel makes a product called trac wrap, its similar to our paint protection film but has adhesive not as strong as our ppf and can be removed.

Are you under the bridge by Fisherman's village? If so, we drove by your house last night while cruising the canals. We are on Crescent Drive 2 canals past the Yacht Club. Our Nor-Tech CC is on a lift

Yep. That's us. Still live and work in Maryland but try and get down as often as possible. Hope to meet in future.

I doubt that is a good idea. Had a couple of friends try it and surprise, it baked onto their truck. One guy had to have it buffed off and the other had to use varsol (mineral spirits) to get it off. It took him several days to get that stuff off his truck.

I used that floor protection film from Home Depot Towing to LOTO a few times. Its for putting down over carpet and floors during construction.
Has a sticky backing so no tape needed. Do not leave it on for any long period of times and there still may be some sticky residue left over but Goof OFF took it right off.

Some guys was doing it on an 47 or 50OL at LOTO towing back to Mass one year is where I got the idea. Worked pretty well.

FWIW....I drove to the FL East coast from PGI last Tuesday. Car was pummeled by love bugs. Drove home today and it was about 1/3 of the carnage. It was overcast with light sprinkles so that might have had something to do with it.
