My opinion, there are just some days ya can’t be without one. My wife being being Irish, fair complexion, can only take so much. Everything seems fine with her then all of a sudden gets flush in the face, headache, nauseous, heat stroke and the fun’s over. I’ve had them on my last 2 boats and currently just had one made for my current build and would not be without one.

I have a very heavy duty Bimini top, but take it off for poker runs or big weekend when I want to boat to look it’s best

5'X5' pop up canopies available on Ebay in a variety of colors for $65. No in the way bimini frame etc. Sure it won't work while underway but that's what Bull Frog Gel Sunscreen is for.

All over Florida they have those water misters that cool everything down, has anyone adapted those to a boat yet?

I looked into doing in ten plus years ago, the problem was the cost of the nozzles. I had planned a holding tank and distilled water because the nozzles that I knew of then had issues with anything being in the water.

Yup, the boat we have with a bimini has a panhard bar. LOL.
