Amazing man! It was a great honor to meet him and take a few rides in the 40. A true gentleman as others have said. Fond memories. Sad day. RIP Howard.

What a great guy to miss...... We met ( and I worked with Howard) from day one ...... So many happy memories..... Howard was happy up to his last day !!

Sorry to hear that...I wondered how he was doing. Birthday parties in his shop in the 90's were the highpoint of summer for me- I think "Mountie" referred to them in another thread. Howard was generous with his time, resources & the local ofshore community.
I listened for the whine of the turbine(s) as I was passed by Howard on every poker run ...making sure I stayed out of his way!

There will be an intimate memorial for Howard next week. ( Due to current "weather conditions" ) BUT....... There will be a CELEBRATION for Howard, to be planned in the Fall. TBD

I will be there!! ( I will keep you all up dated )....... Knowing Howard's legacy, it will be fun!! Howard would expect nothing less.
