Default Boyne Rumble

Everyone knows there is no Boyne Thunder this year. But, there is still several boats coming north. I’m very pleased to know this. Our local economy will be thankful. I continue to get questions of what is going on. I do not want to make any official announcement on what all the boaters are doing. But maybe we can make a agreement for Friday or Saturday to enjoy a ride together with our friends and family. If anyone wants to start a discussion on a time, please post it up. Pete is up for taking pictures.

When I hear of any plans I will try to get them posted up. I opened up a discussion on my CBBC page on FB. I run the Boyne Thunder FB page, but due to the circumstances I will not post any information on that page.

I think we would be interested in coming up for a long weekend. We haven't made the run in a few yrs but always enjoyed the area.

There will be a tough time for getting slips. But we have East Jordan Marina and Charlevoix City Marina. I have found slips for Bob the Builder at Northwest Marine also in Charlevoix. If you sleep in my yard bring a generator, my breaker in the garage won’t run your ac.

This IS NOT A ORGANIZED RUN! We are getting together in front of the Boyne City Marina on Thursday July 9th at 11am. A group of friends are going to go for a ride to Bay Harbor. Thursday is the only day they have room. I gave Fox & The Rose, Knot Just a Bar and Salvatore's a heads up a group of friends would be coming up for lunch if the weather permits. Pete will be taking pics off my boat (a Helicopter if anyone wants to cover the cost). After the ride we can have a raft up in Horton Bay if people feel safe and want to wear masks or do what ever they feel comfortable with.
