Any more details? Self induced bad day or did Poseidon decide it was it’s time?

Our friends in "G Spot" a 45' Cruisers were first on scene and rescued the 10 people on board. We were close by anchored and swimming so when we heard "rescued" we almost laughed wondering why such a big deal. Well there were multiple elderly adults, one person paralyzed from the neck down, and an autistic child. The boat sank in under 9min.

There's coast guard video and multiple pics of the entire rescue on FB not sure the best way to post links.

I heard shaft seals, but that is a fast leak for shaft seals. Unless someone repaired and forgot to tighten up the assemblies and it unscrewed. Doesn't appear to have outdrives by the way it sits.
