Default Blower surge 101

Hey guys just about ready to get my bbc blown 48 ford anglia running. It’s just a street car but want to tune in as much blower surge as I can
what increases blower surge?
i have a 500ci bbc 8.5 cómp flat tappet cam with an 8/71 under driven blower on it. Not sure on the cam specs but if lts not scary enough will install full roller cam and roller valve train and I can over drive it if need be up to the point I can on pump gas.
please give me some insight to the cause of blower surge, and how to increase it. Thanks in advance for any info. Previous owner saiid it makes 750 hp.
im in Colombia with no DOT laws so am running 17x31” wrinkle wall slicks 5.38 rear and wheelie bars. The thing weighs nothing so it should be interest to drive. Thanks again Rm

use as much ignition advanced as you can that way when it revs up it keeps advancing and keeps going to a higher rpm. Make sure it’s rich as it can possibly be at idle. Can’t wait to see what weird thing you ask next.

lol. Come on who doesn’t love some serious blower surge.
So you’re saying run as much initial timing just keep the same amount of total timing in it at full advance? Thanks

anyone trying to drive it lol.

no the most amount of advance as you can will windmill more. Don’t remember what I said in last post it’s bar thirty. You want it to advance the second it starts to rev up to keep the idle ****ty.

Put it it in neutral at stoplights too.

If all that fails pull the gasket from blower to intake. If that isn’t enough put half the gasket back in.

Im running a 3800 stall converter and trans brake. That converter won’t hamper the surge I don’t imagine
