The O.P's other thread is going nicely, he's posting updates regularly. Does that mean this one can be the whingeing about missed sarcasm, spelling and grammar thread?
Coming from Australia, I didn't learn 'American' I learnt English and with the huge majority of members on here being American, I see many variations of the language........
I'm not saying anyone's right or wrong but you guys certainly write and spell differently to the way I was taught.

Looks fine to me.
Whinge and whine are pretty close, in my book, "whine" implies the tone of the speaker, bit like the high pitch whine in a diff. Whingeing is just incessant complaining.
BTW, you were right....."not going fast enough"!

Make sure you have plenty of bumpers and ropes to keep the back from hitting something as you pull into your space at the dock.

Not only can I pronounce 'whingeing' perfectly I also know the correct application of 'bollocks' !
( all respect to the OP , I've been here long enough to see many a thread go a tad OT)

Bumpers = those blow up things you never can find room for on the boat that double up as lifesavers in a push
The back = the square end of the boat (oops, it's a platoon boat both ends are square
)Your space at the dock = The 'birth'
