Default any clue what this hull might be?

Posted on scream and fly but got no luck sadly.

Ad says it is a "Classic 1979 Sonic 20.6". It has caught my eye a lot and we did want a fun small boat like this

It is all redone with an 07 opti 200 on it. I love everything about it but when trying to research them I get nothing. A worry for me is down the road if I do buy it, when sale day rolls around again I got nothing.

Was curious if anyone had info on them at all (they ride, handle, etc etc).

Hoping to get the HIN soon as I called the boat lot today but the owner picked it up to use this weekend.

Boat was redone with stringers, paint, electronics, guages, seats, fuel tanks, and all that within 3 yrs.

Here is the boat in question

That helps more than you know.

I just don't want a home made hull when the day comes for me to sell is all. So if it is a Sonic manufacturer boat then that is a step in the right direction for me.

Thank you

If the boat is there on Monday I can get the hin for you. I am launching my boat at bay pines and going fishing, so I will be driving right by where it’s at.

Definitely a Sonic. We only built one while I worked there ( actually , the shop foreman ,Lee , built it for himself). Rigged with a PAIR of 200's . 100+ mph.

The claim is 70 on this one.

Any clue how they ride? It will be used on the intercostal area here on the gulf. A runner to the islands and canals if we pick it up
