That boat was on LOTO for quite a few years. It WAS a nice boat when PBC sold it. Looks like she’s been beat on and abused in 3yrs. since it left. $35k isn’t a horrible price. Lots of other boats I’ve seen on here in way worse shape get restored. Agree though, probably would be a little upside down by the time you rebuilt the power and addressed all little issues.

At 35K it would be hard to get hurt as long as it wasn't a sunken boat/bad transom or stringers. But with any older boat in need of work you need to do the reverse math. What is it worth in nice running condition then deduct the sale price. At the number left do you think you could get it into nice running condition for that price. If not, it is still overpriced.
Something similar happened, guy on here bought a boat that someone recognized was in a captain stabbin porno. Had to have been 01 or 02 if I remember right.

From that awful movie 'The Hangover part 2', I know the graveyard where the Baja is resting. The movie was a hit, God knows why, but I'd never want to own the boat. (not just because of the graphics)

I mean realistically its probably worth it if someone has the time and space for a project. I know alot can go wrong in three years from when it was last seen in good condition. I would be curious as to the condition of the hull. If its motors and tlc and someone had the ability and no how to do it themselves doesnt seem to horrible. But I am the one that just sunk way to much money into the rebuild of my formula that Ill never see the return on. So I always seem to be naive when it comes to these things and think oh it cant be that bad haha its starting to bite me though.

fast forward to 2:30 to find out what the movie is about and why the boat was probably well abused. Definitely won't be worth more.

A "47 foot" Top Gun!

I wouldn't mind taking a swing at it if it were closer..

Edit... Ad is down. Who bought it?

Lots of shoe wearing on that boat. I can only imagine how artistic types treat a boat.

It was an interesting sale to say the least!! The boat was spotless when we sold it. I was afraid her fate would come to this....
