I remember that incident too . I may not clearly recall profiles vanishing but a lot of existing member's post counts were somehow slashed . I was one of them , so you might actually have 1000xs of posts somewhere out in cyberspace .

My profile reset during a site upgrade in 2002. Been hanging around here for twenty years or so. Great bunch of knowledgeable folks on here. I try to check in at least once a day.
