After doing a bit of research I am pretty positive they are just decals.....I bit hard....I am sure the guy got a good chuckle

It seems like American made decals are the only thing available from Merc these days anyways. Lol

hello mercury, yeah i wanna order some new 450's but can you put some old tower of power cowlings on em that say i dunno merc1150 ?

Damn near gave me a heart attack after just buying a 450 boat. LOL

I do know there is no way Merc would decal them during testing. Especially since it's probably just a tune so no exterior differences.
