car haulers??
-- Anyone have a suggestion as to who i can get to transport a blazer from california to detroit michigan? I never knew it was such a racket... i sent in my quote request and in 30 seconds i had 5 calls from 'brokers' when i started looking into it they are the middle men and are not guaranteeing anything, then i start poking around on the shippers sights and there are all kinds of reviews stating that they quoted cheap then snagged them for hundreds of dollars and damage to the vehicle.
I'm not looking for the cheapest or enclosed high end just looking to get a vehicle back without getting raped and undamaged...
Thanks for any input.
Dave

I used a broker who used the carrier below. They moved a Lexus SUV from L.A to Traverse City for me back in June. Try the carrier directly and see if it works.
GREEN LIGHT CARRIER INC
1336 MC DOWELL RD UNIT 202
NAPERVILLE, Illinois 60563
Phone: 630 854 2767

I went through a broker when I bought my F250. I have his info if needed. It was $1,300 to ship from Phoenix to Chicago. Just to give you an idea.

The whole brokerage thing is a giant joke and a racket. I set up shipping for my parents' two cars from AZ to SC directly with a shipper knowing the hazards of the industry.
My parents in their brilliance thought they could do it cheaper. So they Googled and got set up with a broker. A few days before their move across the country; the broker called them up and extorted them for more money. They then called me for help. I told them they should have stuck with me, but NOOOOOOO. It ended up costing them 25% more than I had them booked for originally.
If you don't have anything set up already, call Bobby aka "Lucky Strike Jr." They ship cars all the time and have good contacts. https://mercedesshowroom.com/
