Motors in the tunnel doesn't seem like a good setup.

Kinda was thinking the same thing but I know nothing about a cat. Now a kitty! Thats a different story....

Yes I know its been done for a long time, but that is old technology and the lower units take a beating.

The 36 had 2 pods installed in front of the mids so they (apparently) do not take the same beating as a trip where the center engine is literally being pushed off the transom with side loading as much as the engine is trying to push the boat.

Quite a few Nor-tech's has the i/o power pulled for quad OB's

- granted they were rigged behind the sponson but then again, the 40ss shown is just a paint rendering (not necessarily what the final rigging will be) + 40SS is a big hull. that may be actually rigged like the Nor-tech
