Default LOTO Boat Crash

I have been coming to LOTO since about 2008 back then we had no choice but to boat through the weekend now that I live here I don't bother going out on Fri-Sat. I don't now the real facts of the cash and only those on the boat would know but this person may want to consider wearing that kill switch lanyard.......

Would be interesting to know how many on here talking crap are 100% sober every time they operate their boat, let alone in LOTO on shootout weekend.

The article says he wasn't ejected until he hit the shore so a lanyard wasn't the problem. Still yet another pretty crazy incident. I hope he recovers quickly from his "moderate" injuries.

I hear ya, but it also said the impact threw him against the cockpit and the boat did a hard right...which would leave me to believe that unless he had his anti gravity boots on he went hard left that's where my thinking a lanyard may have come in pretty handy (mine gives me about 18" max) but just pure speculation on my part...

It was unfortunate for sure

Mine would have cut the engine too in that scenario.

It's not nearly as far fetched as the 42 legacy completely on shore at 5mph after supposed trim tab failure
