Be safe all...don’t get complacent folks. Hate to hear about people getting ill because of having a “screw it” mentality. Now is not the time to be letting our guards down. Have fun and make smart choices.

cheers🍺🍺🍺

There are still a boatload(LOL) of restrictions in place. Maybe they will rollback more before then but it's not looking like a "fun" time.

And the PR may be on but I don't think there are any parties/dinners or Poker Run village to hangout or just see.

Wife got cold feet months ago and bailed on this year. Guess it gives the liver and wallet a bit of a break this fall. Will be really ready to go next year! As for the races themselves I enjoy Wed, Fri, Sun hanging out on the mole. Made some friends out there and never bored regardless of action on course.

We booked flights and an AirBNB for super cheap during the start of pandemic thinking everything would be reopened by now. We're still planning being there the 8th-15th. Hopefully there is still plenty for us to do down there since we'll be boatless.

i was in Vegas in July, still kicking, why not add K.W to the list to go to as well.

That is after we get back from Austin in Oct.

We were planning to go as well, but backed out as well. On the positive side, the savings from canceling Key West is allowing me to race the Daytona Roval next month.

No more public mandated public mask rule in KW. It was lifted last week.

every bar you can see on the webcams are open. Talked to a couple friends down there and they say they are opened up and serving and people are returning.

bands are playing at all the bars.

We enjoy key west any time. Offshore boats are just a plus to the scenery and environment. Actually might for once in 15 years do some touristy stuff like go over to the fort or rent a seadoo and go through the mangroves. But either way 99.97% recovery rate from the scamdemic? I think we can play the odds and things will be ok.

I get the recovery rate but remember the 8 people that died from going to a wedding in Maine............seems crazy. 147 infected from ONE wedding making the death rate almost 5.5% in MAINE of all places.

I'm not worried about the disease. I'm not sure I want to wear a mask in every restaurant and bar I go to. And with no clear idea on things to do it's still a 50/50 good time or s#it time. I can go to KW any day of the year. When it's worth going. Not convinced on this year and I'm willing to eat my $3800 in room and slip fees for 2020 just to maintain my reservations for 2021.
