The picture makes it look more, because it's a wide lens and jacked up. Generally, 10" is perfect on the 27. That seems to be the right amount of bow lift and balance for the Chaudron. Some lighter pad boats like the Tuff use even more, to run as fast as possible.

darn boats are gorgeous and seem semi reasonable in relation to all that is seen from other manufacturers that certainly are out for folks like me.
