There's one aftermarket accessory that absolutely "makes" a Chevy Avalanche - A FULL COVER so you don't have to look at the butt-ugly thing!!! 
OTOH, it's good to see that the guys that styled (and I use the term loosely) the Pontiac Aztek still have jobs...

Current state of automtive engineering in the US:
The best Ford has done is add wires to the rear
window to clear fog and frost;
Dodge is adding wires under the wipers so they can
be freed when frozen and not burn up the motor.
But Chevy is adding the wire elements to the tailgates and trunk lids on all of their vehicles. Keeps your hands warm while you're pushing!
