Default New 50' Aluminum Cat coming to US

A reliable friend from Vancouver, BC called and said a local repo/auction company sold a complete and custom-built 50 foot aluminum cat with full canopy to a fellow taking it to Tennessee.

He said it was new or near new, yellow paint sitting on a matching yellow tri-axle/dually trailer. While the boat was not rigged, he also picked up the two 1200 HP motors along with transmissions and I believe drives. He has seen it up close and said it was absolutley beautiful. The word was it was being set up to run 160MPH.

The boat was built in Vancouver at a cost of over $450K, plus motors, trailer, etc. It was sold for... please sit down...

Boat & Trailer - $65,000 Canandian
Motors, etc - $75,000 Canadian

Thats less than $100,000 US!!!

Don't know how much is true or how much is fiction. Has anyone heard anything about this boat??

When you say "NEW" I assume you mean, new to a new owner, never rigged/run 5 year old 50' cat.

I came across pics of that boat a few years ago, posted the pics and asked about it on here. Story was it was built along with a big azz aluminum vee by some engineer who lost funding. Boat sat, got repo'd or some sh!t and was last seen sitting in a yard in Canada.

Then your boy "buddy00" comes on here a couple years later spowting off at the mouth that it's his new project and he'll be done with it soon, blah, blah blah (TOOL!).

He was called on that, the boat pics re-surfaced and the story was told to be the same.

Whatever the deal is, it's a bad mo fo. I have a few pics of it on my computer at home I can post later if no one else posts them first.

If someone seriously wants to buy this thing......it is a buddy of mine who owns it. I can provide current pics of me holding todays USA today beside the boat, an affidavit stating it is really there and a sworn statement from my mother that it is all true.

Seriously.......he will deal on the boat.
