I think its an old 32' Tempest, formerly raced as "Mary K". I'm sure Smitty will let us know when he gets back from Key West.

Thats My boat! Can only be photographed with high speed film. 1980 Viper built by futura marine. Only built 8. Boat was copied by Tempest, Activator, Scorpion. Raced in the P class in 1980 Small block TRS. Now it's 700 plus with Bravos. Scares all the other P3 boats into other classes. An offshore monster

There were 11 viper boats built in the 80's. My Father had 2 of them we bought and raced the first hull serial number 001 was a maroon hull named CENTURY P25. then they built the 11th hull which was still in the gel molds when the company went belly up. This was a black and white pleasure hull with twin 454s. The hulls were designed from the sail boat felix mumola had out in the front of his building. THEY ARE NOT TEMPEST REDESIGNED. I was a younger man during those times but they will never be forgotten. Anyone looking for a race team, gimme a shout!
