Thoughts on wakeboard/surf boats
#21
I will never be the guy that causes problems on the water, but i have seen videos of some clowns surfing with there buddy’s running two boats side by side
pretty close to one another and sinking nearby boats with there waves. Lots of lakes wont allow these boats because of this. I’m kinda thinking if this
continues to happen more and more lakes are going to follow the banning of these, I think there needs to be heavy fines or property damage reinbursment
if there boat causes the problem, this will get them to calm down.

A lot of wakeboat owners graduate from the jet ski scene. The courteous and responsible ones you’ll never know about because they know what’s up.
They are really comfy for the whole family. As an actual surfer I don’t find them worth the investment but are great fun for the kids.

I know some Corps of Engineer guys who feel extremely strongly about shoreline erosion caused by the surf boats who are pushing for just that. It really comes down to responsible operation...I boat mainly on Table Rock Lake in Missouri and those that know these lakes (Beaver, Table Rock, Bull Shoals...even LOTO) know that the majority of the lakes are not large "open water" lakes but more of a series of river channels and coves...DEEP water but not wide. Last summer it was really busy one day and I got stuck behind a ~50' cruiser who was moving along about 35 mph in a place he should never have been...I watched fishermen and other boats literally get swamped by this thing. Due to the congestion on the lake I had to follow him for a few miles before I could get around him...and I witnessed carnage on the shore and docks from this a-hole. Just way too much boat for that part of the lake.
To me the lake has always been sort of a last bastion of freedom...so it won't be good if a ban ever goes into place.

We have a 2020 25' LSV Malibu. Love it. We respect other boaters and docks. Gives us an activity to do other than sit there and bake. LOL.
Loaded down without people I'm over 11K lbs! The wave is massive....but the key is length! My wife is able to ride about 25' feet behind.

We love our Axis T23. We live on a lake popular with wakeboarders, and now, wake surfers. In fact, I believe we have the only go fast boat living on the lake. Different boats for different sports. If you're happy sitting in a speed boat, go fast. If one prefers activity and challenge, wakeboard.

all set up for us to surf. I plan on taking it out during winter, check out the heated seats and hoses and no traffic.

The Nautique G boats are designed to plow as "THE" competition boat... the 230 was a good all round performer (wake surf and board, ski and tubing) and better handling than the G (especially in reverse).
If the OP likes his G23, he would be most certainly be disappointed in the G21 but the G25 was a monster with the retail price to go with the status
