Baja on Perdido Key

We live in central “LA”, but primarily boat out of Panama City and Pensacola. I’m familiar with Perdido Key (grew up in Navy Point area). However, the no wake zones in place between Perdido and Pensacola are too much for me, and it’s not often the wife endures offshore. My 26 Outlaw handles rough water as well as most, but I have better sea legs than her. When we are in town (we have two boys living there), we can usually be found anchored in the Ft. McRey cove. Unfortunately, I’m pretty well shutting down till next spring.

Beautiful spot but obviously not without consequences. Still love FL though and hope to have anything even half as nice as yours there someday.
