Boat storage here (Miami FL) is crazy expensive... cheapest you'll find is $9 a foot and that is at a very sketchy place. If it's at a marina $25 a foot for dry storage..

This fire burned long and hot and per fire expert it's doubtful a cause will be determined.

It's sad when it could have been avoided. Bosch makes a camera that can detect smoke and fire even when it's very small, it also doubles as a security camera. I have worked with companies that are at extreme risk for fire with self combusting products and we have saved them millions of dollars by detecting fires when they are still easily extinguishable.

We pay for it eventually, every claim that is made increases policies a crossed the board for boaters.
