WOW, if the hull-only actually weighs 4,000 kilos (8,800 pounds), it is extremely heavy - about twice the weight of a more modern hull that same size. It would weigh approximately 14,000 pounds fully rigged out - roughly 5,000 pounds more than a modern 36' cat. It definitely would not be very fast, but would still be so cool at the docks, and be a great rough water cat for it's size!

Absolutely! I would recommend at least 1,000hp blower motors because it is so heavy.
