Hi RR,
You might also look at the Riviera 47 or 45 Excalibur, it is a comfortable boat, and has all of the amenities you are looking for. Not as fast as the 400ss, but basically with the 47, you can push 50mph with a two bedroom condo. Since they were produced in Australia under the Riviera and Wellcraft brands, you might need to use both brands in your search. They also had a 38 foot versions. I own a 47 foot Riv/Wellcraft Excalibur and it is a very comfortable and fast. The 45 is in your price range and is a bit roomier than the 400ss as it has two berths and a dry shower. The 45 is a 55 mph boat with the 496 or 502 engines.
Might be worth a look.
Jeff

Hey Jeff, not sure if you meant me (RR), I’m not the OP and I’m not looking to buy.
That said, I agree on the Excalibur/Wellcraft/Riviera models. They were made from the 44 Diavolo hull and are great boats. I have spent time on the Riviera version.
I don’t know how closely the OP has looked into the import side of things, it could be a deal breaker. The cost to ship a boat that size to Australia is huge and I think he’d also have to pay import duties and GST. That’s why I suggested the Diavolo.
Anyway, good luck to the OP, I hope things work out.
