Ambusher: thanks for the info. That must be some pretty good sticky on the green sticker. I've worn mine 24/7 for years now, and the yellow lettering is worn off, and the green color is much lighter than when new, but the sticker is still well attached. As hard as I am on watches (everything I own is expected to work as hard as I do; not into frilly stuff that does not earn its keep) I doubt the fact the sticker is still on mine will increase its worth much with all the honest-wear scratches on it. But the crystal is still scratch-free. That's an incredable material.

Puder, I`ve looked all over for that SS Daytona,unless you want to spend 8600 to 8900 for a SS watch GOOD LUCK. You can buy the two tone for about 9300 thats with 18k gold.Frum outa Chicago wants 8900

i haev abuddy who has beenon eth aiting list for 2 years so he can get it at list, instead of the going rate of well above list. If he doesn;t but it when his name comes up i'm buying it.

Yup, It is the one that Jeff bought. I am sure he is happy. I will start looking again soon for another one. Life is not the same.

my hologram sticker came off after the 1st week. hell, if you're not going to wear it, why buy it? they didn't make them to look pretty. they made them to be tough as nuts.

I'm with you Dredgeking.
I took mine off when I took the watch out of the box. I have no intentions of ever selling it, and I wear it every day. I figured it would just turn sticky and nasty. Apparently they don't.

THE STICKER IS MADE TO BE BE TAKEN OFF AT PURCHASE ,ONLY LEFT ON TO PROVE NEW OR USED OR IN BETWEEN

I think those lists are so everyone thinks its kosher. If I was the dealer why would I sell list when their are collectors beatin dwn my door to pay 8,000.
