Makes me sick seeing bow riders with kids up in the front going through that stuff in those conditions.
I hope the guy in the 39 TG who did that to his passengers never operates a boat with passengers again.

wow... that bad... broken back while in the rear of the boat... it must have been quite an impact for this to happen !
he was facing the incoming wawes so of course it would have been different with the waves coming from the back even at the same speed...
still sad to read...

Your first responsibility as a captain is to the person(s) sitting next to you and behind you, the second is yourself, and third your equipment if you care. If I think about it, this clown is actually worse than the Lotto dude, the only difference is there was no Go-Pro on the dash to record this carnage. If you look closely those passengers in the back were practically levitated off the floor before crashing down.
Sweet friggin boat though.

That boat belonged to a member here up until the new owner bought it.
Easy with the pitch forks and mob mentality. Sh*t happens. People makes mistakes, have poor judgement at times and / or do stupid stuff.
I don’t know this guy but that sucks. Feel very bad For all involved. I know I’ve personally looked back and thought to myself “damn that was close / lucky / could’ve ended bad...”
hope everyone makes a quick recovery. And is able to boat another day.
