Thanks everyone. Irish Spring soap, Citronella, moth balls, mixed in a blender with some Tempo Dust. Pour in two bowls. Place under the cover on the bow and the swim platform. Vaya con Dios bugz!

I put Hot Shot pest strips in my garage and attic where I keep my boat. I hang them off the garage door rails and no more bugs. If I open the door at night the lights attract bugs, close the door and sweep the floor in the morning. Been doing this for over 20 years. My place is in the woods in Northern Michigan and we are bug free. I spray Bayer Termite and Carpenter Ant killer around the property, It's a commercially available nuclear option for pest control.

Can these be used outside? Would hang a few of them from the cover tie-strap loops to zap the bugz before they work their way in underneath the cover...

I haven't tried them in a totally outdoor environment, I was going to hang them around my covered porch to knock down the bugs at night. I would definitely keep them out of the rain.
